AI statement

Apologies, haven’t been blogging lately, must get better!

Hi there!

We (meaning me, myself and I) at Glenn’s Antiques & Vintage thought that now would be a good time to state that Artificial Intelligence (AI henceforth in this post) is not used throughout the shop website, or in anything that will be done in the future.

I’m adding a little anti-AI note on the homepage to support this.

📝 There was a time (with my previous website) where I would have AI help with some item descriptions, but with this website I scrubbed that out and individually went through every item on my store and researched as much information as I could.

📷 I don’t, and have never used AI in the photography side (you can probably tell from a lot of my photos!).

🪧 I’ve manually made posters in the past for my shop, and quite enjoyed making them. I’m not going to be one of the businesses that mocks one up in 3 seconds and calls it done. In my humble opinion, it wouldn’t help the image that I want to portray with this little shop project. I don’t intend to support it or use it going forward.
